Only the tip of the iceberg. 17 Years, 7 Months ago
I believe that many thousands of people's lives have been ruined by police trawling operations, whether it concerned child porn or allegations of sexual abuse. It might be easier (though not easy) for those not convicted to take legal action, but for the many who have been wrongly convicted it is just an endless nightmare.

To the man who lost his wife due to the police investigation, I say that if she wouldn't stand by him then he's better off without her.

Chris Saltrese is a decent solicitor. He contributed to the Parliamentary Sub Committee which advised the government that there had been many wrongful convictions based on false allegations, and that action had to be taken to prevent this in future. Naturally the government ignored this advice and, instead, made it easier to convict without evidence.
