655,000 Iraqis killed - The Lancet report 17 Years, 7 Months ago
This staggering figure is the latest calulation of the cost to Iraqi's of their "liberation" (or rather, the liberation of their oil !)

see Channel 4 News for further details. Full report published tomorrow.

I wonder how many Iraqis (those that haven't been killed yet) would rather like Saddam back again?

We're getting close to the figure of Rwanda, which is pretty mind-boggling. The Congo has, in the words of the Int'l Herad Tribune, lost "millions in the past decades". No figure is avaialble. Many of the people never existed as far as we are concerned, yet were worthy of massacres and unimaginable brutality.

What a world we live in.
