The brilliant Philip Pullman trilogy is finally being filmed... 17 Years, 5 Months ago  
with Nicole Kidman starring (good casting).

I have to say I would consider them unfilmable. Just hope they are better than the Potter films.

My favourite of the three is the middle one, The Subtle Knife, a superb concept (especially when you're in prison; read it, you'll understand).
