I know it's not quite the end but I was so taken aback and surprised by the blatant originality of breaking the conventions... and I was only 15.
Welcome to the Book Day... there is nothing better than a good book.
May I point you again at Never Let Me Go, now out in paperback and one of the ten best ever written?

I don`t know if I have a favourite ending, but I was very pleased to finish a Rushdie novel,(yes that one) just so that I could proudly proclaim I had actually read and finished it.
Actually my fave ending was "The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe"
I waited so long for "The Last Battle", by CS Lewis, but I didnt like it.
I am currently still delving in and out of the John Peel "Margrave of the Marshes ". A bitty book, but lovely memories and recollections all through it.
