Tabloids now seriously erratic 17 Years, 5 Months ago
Joe Jagger (Mick and Chris' dad, who I've met several times) is "not life threatened" in hospital in the NOTW (p7) but DEAD in The People (p27) and Mirror...

Which are we to believe?

Latest I spot - a two page spread in The Mail that Joe did die after Mick returned to Las Vegas. Is the NOTW really that behind on the subs desk?

Do they have a 3pm print deadline?

Standards, like circulations, are collapsing.

These papers have standards to collapse?

At least they won't have far to fall.

Well, it hit AP about 12-14 hours ago... so God knows when the put the edition to bed...

This sort of thing is closer to US news publishing than traditional UK...

There will be red faces and possibly even firings today.
Even our stablemate the Sunday Times carried the story.
