I've often wondered why someone wasn't making cheaper, lighter, more modern cars... for a mere

Aha..another can of sprawling wriggly pinkness falls to the floor...
I have just came back from a meeting in my little old Mini(with it`s usual annoying problems), do you not think that the reason cars are getting so cheap is because everybody now has one?
The Nissan we recently got, has so much value for the money, and so many extras, it would have been unaffordable even five years back.
My point is? Where are the old cars going to go, when the new ones appear to be better value, than keeping an older car on the road, even when technically , there is nothing wrong with it except age..
I drive my ancient car for fun, I do not see many about, and if I do see a similar car, the driver allways waves.
I think this could be a fan club, but it may well be a case of "I understand what you are going through with that old car mate..."
