Lots of British players go to America once their proper football career is over. Beckham was always more of an image than a player, and so the USA will suit him. He has said, in the past, that he'd like to get into movies. I think this is his main reason for going there. Plus, a million pounds a week isn't a bad wage for doing very little.

Much as I would love to have a million quid a week though, which I don`t , I was happiest on my lowest earnings, personally, I found a tremendous sense of purpose whilst hunting around for earnings for a loaf of bread.
I don`t think it`s about money with Becks, he obviously wants to do this new job, and thats cool as well.
They seem a very nice couple.
