The very fact almost half the voters could vote for such a despicable, lying creep and a crook is an indication that propaganda is so rife in the USA I don't think there is much hope the Republic will survive...it may take another decade but the decline has started.

The are very few like Trump who have been elected..even Hitler had to manipulate and create a sensation to seize power and still never had popular support but once he declared himself dictator resistance was over.

The fact a President can so blatantly lie day after day and get away with it should alarm all but it doesn't.

Regretfully I have to visit the US sometime later this year for business..I'm not looking forward to it. The few pals I have in New York voted for Trump... now they regret it but any admiration I had for them has vanished. I can't stand the idea of actually spending time with them anymore.

America was a nice idea while it lasted..Vladimir Putin has pulled off the Greatest Coup on the planet..Brexit & Donald Trump....WOW.
