Sarah's Law 17 Years, 1 Month ago
Hi,

I think JK is right about not putting people's names in newspapers until they are found guilty in the court for something.
my dad was taken to the police station about something that he just did not do. local paper still put him on the front Page! even when he was sent home by the judge for being innocent the paper never wrote anything to say that. he was just as guilty then! I am only 15 but i know the right and wrong of things. and the paper was wrong!

Having been provoked to find out a bit more about the issue before signing the petition mentioned elsewhere I am disturbed by what is going on.

As in your experience the accusation is news the refuting and proving innocence is not. That cannot be fair or right.

It is also troubling that a person is named and then advertised for accusers to step forwards. Given a potential financial incentive to accuse that cannot be fair or right either.

I am afraid that right and wrong are considered less important than salacious stories to sell newspapers, they know the difference as well as you but they don't care.
