If it was a sexual offence, you would be claiming "False allegations", however if it is drink-driving he is bang to rights. Drink driving has now become a very taboo offence, even though driving whilst using a mobile is statistically more dangerous.

But I said a robbie "what is the real story" for the reason you mention.

Her husband and son managed to get out of the car but could do nothing to save her and had to witness her death. I'm sorry to hear that, I'm not condoning drink driving, but their are degrees of this offence. There is someone who has had 3 glasses of wine and is driving through Cheshire villages at 20mph at 2am in the morning with no one around, and there is speeding down the motorway at 90mph. I would imagine that the above terrible accident also involved driving at high speed.

I must say I think he has grown better looking as he's aged and everyone makes mistakes (like one drink too many). Cut the poor man some slack.
