TOPIC: It's coming, it's coming

It's coming, it's coming 1 Week, 2 Days ago Karma: 49
As predicted years ago, the pressure cooker that is the British Prison System is starting to hiss steam. Assorted Justice Ministers, failing to bother with people who cannot vote and who, they assume, both public and media do not like, have simply coughed and looked away. Mass breakouts are coming soon to a neighbourhood near you.

There have also been 4 suicides in recent weeks at Nottingham Prison and another two weeks ago at Bristol. It seems all the government cares about now is Brexit.

The couple called a mental health helpline and were told the quickest way to get him sectioned was to call the police.

"Nothing whatsoever was being done for him," said Mr Turner.

"We were being passed backwards and forwards from the police and the mental health service saying 'well if he's using cannabis we're not going to go near him'."

No doubt, severe budget cuts have not helped support the police services. And much of their time has probably been spent working on historic sexual abuse cases.

It looks like they've been embroiled in one such case on their very own doorstep.
