I often bless my Mum and Dad; that they gave me the strength in my genes that many do not have; even top politicians. As Cliff, Gambo and others will testify; the false allegations industry causes incredible damage especially when assisted by thoughtless (at best) and corrupt (at worst) police. With Wales being close to Wiltshire, even a successful politician must have seen how false allegations are handled. "You will be believed... credible and true...". I'm surprised Lord Bramall outlived his wife; I suppose soldiers have special stamina. The False Allegations Industry is more lethal than Isis.

I'm pretty sure Lord Bramall is a tough old boot and hopefully his wife didn't fully comprehend what was going on or was protected.

But the way in which his case was handled is simply beyond vile. Here is a man who really has given so much and frigging old plod treated him appallingly.

But the same goes for all the others..I reckon Cliff must have been devastated and will probably never recover.

What a way to treat people in the last couple of decades of their life when they should expect the opposite!

When I bumped into Nigel Lythgoe last week he told me Cliff was going to stay with him in Los Angeles and had been "totally destroyed" by the false allegations. I spoke to Gambo every week during his ordeal and often had to boost his confidence. The number of people I met in prison who had been convicted of crimes that never happened. Carl Sergeant was not even being investigated by police. But that is society in Great Britain these days. God spare this country from the bad karma it is earning.
