TOPIC: Trump and sanity

Trump and sanity 6 Years, 3 Months ago
I have to admit to having a sneaking admiration for Trump issuing his doctor's report on his mental health. He really does know how to use and manipulate the media - everyone else does so why not him?

Something a bit odd there.

Don't agree there Hedda; I remember every former President - they age very fast. Look how quickly Obama went white haired. And Bill Clinton turned from plump to skeleton. It's a stressful job.

His whopping arse isn't a danger to his health though. I think his midriff isn't too bad, although that might be due to him wearing double spanx.

I need triple spanx after the flu and no exercise for a month. I am all flab and my first attempt back at exercise yesterday half killed me.

Wouldn't the obvious signs of stress and strain be enough to stop any sane and mature person from seeking the office in the first place?

Also, 'mental health' examinations may appear on the surface to be objective but the inner world of the mind is subjective by nature. Who really has the sight to draw the line between sanity and insanity?

Yes I think Trump is as close to barking as many; but no more barking now than he was then.

I think he's an appalling person and the fucker owes me 3 Grand but I digress....

unlike other presidents who age rapidly I don't think he will at all and this is why..

The man is a ghastly and repeat liar and in fact, a university stress study of ll his speeches shows that he is extremely comfortable telling outrageous lies whereas when he is confronted with the truth..he becomes uncomfortable.

Coupled with ..he only plays to the Morons R Us mob who don't give a stuff about his lies (and who he mainly wouldn't spit on)so all in all , he's very comfortable and not stressed.

The positives are that later this year the Democrats will sweep the boards and control both houses for at least 8 years.

Trump becomes a lame duck president and won't be endorsed for a second term while the Repubs lick their wounds.

And thus as Hedda Decreed so It Will Happen !

Economic indicators indicate otherwise.

For example, the DOW is up 31% since Trump became president, indicating the business confidence felt.

The biggest gain for a first year president since Roosevelt!

Stop drinking what ITK used to...

And it's worth noting that FDR is generally accepted as the greatest president ever.

Serving during the Depression until the end of WWII - doing so much to end both.

The only president to serve 4 terms, though he died during the last.

Like Trump, he wasn't slow to make unpopular decisions - including landmark ones, like introducing Social Security.

Yes, FDR was a democrat - but I would'nt write of The Donald just yet...

Those who think Trump will sweep the board & secure a rousing victory in mid-terms, I believe will be proven incorrect. Mind you, whatever the outcome I am sure they will claim some sort of victory. If not election victory, then they will claim a "moral victory" because they are so used to making things up on the spot. Higher taxes for the poorest, low hour contracts further used to combat unemployment figures, and gifts of cash to the already wealthy are his true legacy!

Your claim shows the vacuousness of much comment today whereby the Stock Market...gambling on thin air - is somehow perceived to be an indicator of a countries wealth and that the masses think so as well which is blown out of the water by the mass collapse in 2008 /2009 for Christ Sake!!

you think people have forgotten?

And to even dare to compare the great FDR with a fucking loony like Trump is an insult to all Americans and indicates your grasp on US politics and the general mood is paper thin and probably non-existent.

Spree is banished to the Wilderness.

Economic growth is up.

Inflation, unemployment and immigration are down.

Keep up...
