No - its won't be.

The Russians will huff and puff but in the end they will do exactly what they did when their last Middle East puppet (Saddam) was attacked - stand back and do nothing !

Hope you are right itk but there comes a point where ill judged bellicose statements mean these titanic egos cant be seen to loose face - like 2 blokes in a pub who dont really to fight but cant be seen to lose status...

as usual ITK..for some really odd reason..totally under estimates how clever Vladimir Putin is.

Believe me I know from personal experience..a Russian Granny who ruled the roost.OK she liked a drink (or ten) and was possibly quite mad (I could understand Russian until she died and now I find it quite difficult even at the age of 39) but she ran rings around all other family members who were not Russian.

Sadly ITK actually thinks 2 British politicians are on the ball..,Theresa May and Boris "Boofhead" Johnson.

Hedda (who used to use the name Veritas) was humiliated so often by me that he had to change his name and pretend to be someone else !

Assad is already "on the run" and hiding his aircraft etc
The Russians are in a panic - they did not expect this response (they totally mis-read Trump).
Trump is also a man who does not like to lose.

Russia is bankrupt - and most of its people on the breadline.
How would it benefit them if they got into a fight (even if they won, which is highly unlikely)?

They will do what they did in Iraq ... stand aside .... and look for the next "weak" target.

I tend to think that In The Know has read this right again.

Russia has only attacked "soft" targets like Crimea and Ukraine; they will back away if they meet anyone capable and willing to stand up to them.

Now confirmed ... The Russians DID NOT use any of their air defences against to Coalition last night.

This attack was much smaller than the Russians were expecting - which is why they have been in a panic for the last few days hiding everything from ships to tanks away !
