Unbelievably Mark Williams-Thomas takes the death of Leslie Grantham as the time to mention the fact that Grantham had been investigated by the police over sexual abuse allegations in 2012. I think this is highly disrespectful to his family to reveal this, when they are greaving. I'm not even sure that it is legal to reveal this information as it should be a private matter and there are codes of ethics. He really is a disgraceful individual who disregards everyone elses feelings to further his own career.

I think I can safely say that we all agree with you on this one, Robbie.

I try my best to assume that he is motivated by wanting to protect children, and he just lets himself down by being a giant wassock sometimes, but this was absolutely uncalled for.

And yet,reading the comments,some seem happy to accept that the allegations are true.

And idiots calling out Sir Cliff again I think he should get his legals on this again.

I like the way he describes the evidence as compelling, this means that it evokes interest. It doesn't mean that it is strong evidence, concrete evidence. It is quite unclear exactly what he means.

"I received an email off the back of the Saville investigation in 2012 from a young woman who was very, very scared."

Yet another supposed crime victim who contacted him rather than police. Scared her story wouldn't be believed, so decided to run it past him first?

"I highly suspect there will be other victims out there."

Maybe that's why he tweeted it. Hoping for more e-mails.

It's clear he gave no thought to the family. Between this tweet and his tweets of thoughts and prayers in other circumstances, it's difficult not to wonder what his real motivations are.
