Many prefer looking at a redundant quarry - when having lunch or dinner - instead of enjoying our unique coastline, though!

The sea is anathema to the crunchers.


Wordworth's Lake District is a different class; to overlook Windermere or Coniston Water is a joy.

No disused tunnels, mines, quarries, shafts, pits, factories, collapses canals etc.

People should also see Wainright's thoughts on his area(s) of experise/knowledge.

I think its more a case of appreciating where you live rather than claiming its the best.
