Its ok for the media and the likes of Mark-Willy-John-Thomas to name all the ones accused by 'NICK' but even after the guy is charged he still is not named and his photo on every front page to warn these lying character destroying accusers that you will not get away with it.

There's an interesting comparison to be made between these charges and the Rolf Harris community centre charge.

In the former, exhaustive enquiries turned up absolutely none of the evidence that should exist had the allegations actually been true. Result: "Nick" is nicked.

In Rolf's case, exhaustive enquiries found absolutely none of the evidence that should exist had he actually appeared at the venue. Result: they go ahead and prosecute Rolf anyway.

I suspect they felt that the claims by Rolf's main accuser, the woman he admitted having sexual contact with, needed bolstering, so were more than happy to take any old story reeled in from casting out a fishing line via MWT's "breaking" tweet saying Rolf was "currently being interviewed under caution at police station as part of #Savile other #sexual offences". That tweet was retweeted almost 900 times, so accusers could well have seen related online chatter and got ideas before Rolf was arrested several months later.
