It amuses me (or really- it annoys me) that the handful of "Blairites " in Labour still think the Blair Way will win and actually claim that somehow Jeremy Corbyn is a "blast from the past".

Blair had some policies that were good but at heart, he was Thatcherite (on steroids) and like her, his time (and his policies) have come and gone.

Like Maggie, Tony was for a time but not for all time.

Corbyn is really presenting "old fashioned" policies that have proved time & tide again, to work (ask any Nobel Laurette Economist)

Public ownership of important utilities and assets (worked for 100 years for Tories & Labour), boost the NHS and most importantly- building a million council houses-an infrastructure program that just like FDR's "New Deal" would be such a massive boost to the economy that would set Britain up for the next 20 years.

# these are massively popular programs as all polls report.

It's his vow to crack down on tax avoiders that has got them worried.
