TOPIC: The Prisons Crisis

The Prisons Crisis 5 Years, 7 Months ago
During my three and a half years in prison I was most impressed by the dedication and decency of the majority of prison officers (out of respect I refused to call them screws). Yes there were (and probably still are) some bad apples. But most were good people and I could never understand why Ministers did not meet them and talk to them before making decisions. Watching Mark someone on TV - again, he made great sense. For God's sake Gauke or whoever is current Prisons Minister (they seem to last five seconds); sort out the situation NOW - this week. Before there is a national prisons breakout and riot.

I can hardly believe how awful the prison system is.
Nobody ever changed their behaviour due to being mistreated.
