One of my favourite people in music; met her many times over the decades and found her very nice and quite astonishingly resilient. Her interviews for the new book are enchanting. I remember being with her in, I think, Texas and she was almost dead with 'flu but still went on and gave a cracking performance. She could hardly speak during our interview. Incredible lady. Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.
