So what's next? Well; the obvious question is "will he be prosecuted for crimes?" - the answer; probably NOT; he may have allies in high places. Fellow "leakers", very useful to police, may have been active with him in the early days and may now hold senior positions and not want to be revealed. But they might also decide to distance themselves from him. Will his career continue - destroying innocent men and women by provoking, causing, inventing or encouraging false allegations? I doubt it; nobody now wants to touch him. Some of his past supporters may emerge from the shadows - realising there may be money to be made by exposing his past activities. Example - if he persuaded someone to forge a letter supporting their position - they may have kept quiet (not incriminating themselves) in the past but might now decide to "spill the beans". Only a suggestion - many other possible examples.
