TOPIC: The Tick of Global Warming...

The Tick of Global Warming... 17 Years ago
..I went for a cycle ride yesterday in the forest and gained two Ticks!
One for each arm, oh deep joy!
One I pulled straight out and one we burnt out.

Horrid little beasts, they were under my skin in less than ten minutes.

I think I could have got very good odds on that ever happening in my lifetime.
One of the farmers said this is the worse year he has known for them.
It`s too hot,too soon, they`ve hatched and they`re vicous!

Save the whale, save the tiger, save whatever, but the parasitical little Tick can become extinct thank you!

Move up North, Mart, we have only a mild sun, cool breezes, and NO ticks as yet (and still no roses). It's just a good old English spring here, slightly colder than this time last year.

Thats brilliant D Jones!

I must say though, I actually am not convinced by global warming as an obsession and a very well researched theory, and all due respect from myself to the campaigners , ecologists etc, that are working on it.
We do need to be greener as we know.

I actually believe the Earth has tilted a bit on it`s axis, in it`s inevitable journey to the Sun.

Before the Sun newspaper people get too excited about my theory thinking the world is coming to their laptops, I must stress I mean that big yellow thing in the sky.

A tick in the box to all the above.

(actually that does not bare thinking about)...

I must say that letter is one of the most frightening things I've ever read.

No wonder ordinary punters believe the justice system gets justice when other ordinary punters believe increased daylight saving time means more global warming.

Homer got it right. DOH!
