Sat by the pool today and randomly talk to a lovely Yorkshire retired nurse.

When I told her I lived in Leeds, she said "you may not like what I'm going to say but I know Jimmy Savile is innocent...........they are all lying bastards" I gave her a huge hug, shocked, she asked why I'd hugged her and I told her who I was. At this she burst into tears and told me some amazing stories starting with the Mecca in Leeds and ending at Stoke Mandeville. She cried on and off for an hour!

Her knowledge of Stoke Mandeville disproved at least one famous claim and is happy to go on record to say so. This claim was an NHS payout btw.

We're keeping in touch and I just thought I'd share a very very happy meeting with you all.
