But Honey we do have fresh elections every few years as the public changes its mind; and in my opinion the most successful Government in recent years was the Coalition. I still think that's the best way.
Again funny how selective you are with how democracy works Doctor King...you and others were very against having any democracy at all concerning EU membership...then after your preferred choice lost you demanded even more democracy...well at least until your desired result will be achieved...then you will be shouting from the rafters for the matter to end...and absolutely no more votes on the matter.
Unfortunately another referendum would be the worst result for both sides, especially as the withdrawal mess is now seen as firmly the result of the remain leaning establishment failing to accept the public did not vote to accept a bad deal.
Go back in now,and the next recession Will just lead for more calls for another referendum...and so it will go on....
...we had the referendum because of a strong growth in anti EU sentiment with the electorate...UKIP won the EU 2014 election...their vote would have continued to rise...making a mess of government,as we have now....Just watch the next council elections, and possible EU elections...do you really want people like Tommy Robinson being elected representives of the UK? Because that is exactly what Will increasingly happen if we mess with democracy....
...quite simple solution...if leaving the EU turns out to be as bad financially as many fear then is the time to call another referendum...
...and also be careful...the last poll I saw had no deal as the preferred option
