An interesting article in Spiked regarding false accusers 5 Years ago
People may not realise it, but in Spiked we have a friend. James O'Brien recently attacked the editor of Spiked, Brendan O'Neill, on the grounds that he had written an article: 'Perhaps if you were abused by Jimmy Savile, you really ought to keep it to yourself'. That was during the hysteria of what is now quite a long time ago. If you remember the That'll Teach Them programmes, or when the same production company decided to recreate a 1950s holiday camp, then you'll remember Simon Warr, the headmaster and head of the holiday camp. Well, he was accused of sexual abuse, and went through the hell of proving his innocence. He has written an article for Spiked regarding the unquestioning nature of the authorities when confronted by a compulsive liar: www.spiked-online.com/2019/04/03/we-cann...rs-get-away-with-it/

Thanks for that, Neil. Good article.

Even one or two comments, beneath the article, suggesting that the late, great Jimmy Savile (patron saint of the falsely accused) might not have been guilty.

Thanks from me too. That article is excellent, as is his book.
