But surely if she is selling sex in any form she is indeed a prostitute?
Why do prostitutes keep saying they are models, escorts, and reality stars?
Wrong.............
A prostitute is someone who provides a sexual service for money. It could be a masseuse giving a happy ending or a Sugar Baby receiving an allowance or multiple other fetish type services that will involve sexual arousal. It doesn't have to be penetrative sex but it does have to involve physical involvement and payment for performing a sexual act.
Sexual content is sold by newsagents, other shop owners authors, filmakers, singers, songwriters etc etc but they are not prostitutes.
An actress or actor who receives money for appearing in a sex scene in a TV Show, movie or stage play aren't prostitutes and effectively thats what this lady was doing.
If you are criticising the use and definition of a word then I think you ought to be correct in your own definition and selling sex in any form does not constitute prostitution.
