I always raise an eyebrow when a Saturday paper carries an exclusive like this. Why? Because there's a Sunday spread coming up. Just further proof that the media runs the world and this country (if it can). Look forward to a Boris "sex" admission one Saturday in a tabloid near you before the Tory leadership election (nobody in their right mind would want it unless they were happy to know they will be retiring soon afterwards - which is why Ken Clarke is the ideal caretaker).

Who cares whether Gove took Cocaine decades ago, many people working in the city take it. There are already many reasons why he shouldn't be leader, not least the fact that he has said many times that he doesn't want it and is not capable of it. There is also his backstabbing against Boris.

The date on the video is 7.7.2017. But according to Wikipedia he was in the Ecuadorian embassy from 2012 for almost seven years. So how could he have been filmed in jail in 2017? Either he had a stint in jail then that was never reported or the date setting on the phone was faulty.

I reckon it's doctored footage; the reason I checked it was because he looks like he did 7 years ago, not as recently; then I saw the date and suspect dim subs saw 7 and thought "today's the 7th and June is 7" (doh)... on all levels, not the kind of thing anyone with a brain cell puts online.

You think they added the wrong date to old footage? Just noticed that the times seem odd too, showing them doing the washing up between 5 and 6 in the morning. One of the photos even has a time of 04:11:49. If Wikipedia is anything to go by, the only other time he was in jail was 2010 ("Assange surrendered to UK police on 7 December 2010 but was released on bail within 10 days") but this article from 2010, which says he was in Wandsworth, quotes his supporters as saying he was held in solitary confinement.

Looks to me as if that's the day and time it was finally doctored and created as a new chunk of video. A clear forgery in every way.

I care about Gove taking cocaine.
He was 31!!! Not a teenager. It shows us that he doesn't mind breaking the law, and is possibly easily influenced or unstable.
Not traits we need in a prime minister.
