A great performance from Simona Halep to beat Serena Williams in less than 1 hour. Williams is the best female player ever, but she didn't even get into the game today. All the "experts" said Serena would win, but I believed in Halep. She seems like a lovely girl, very grounded, lives in the same Romanian town where she was born, and was modest in victory. Williams will have more opportunities to reach Margaret Court's record of 24 grand slams, and possibly surpass it.

Margaret Court was a better player - with a wider variety of skills, techniques and abilities.

And more Grand Slams - and holder of her country's highest honour. The Order of Australia.

Power is the most significant feature of the Williams game. However, she is one of the greatest.

Could Margeret Court deal with Serena Willams 121mph serve. She couldn't even beat Bobby Riggs, former us professional tennis player, when he was 55 years old. Billie Jean King later went on to beat Riggs as imoortalized in the film "The Battle of the Sexes".https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4622512/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1

Most consider Steffi Graf to be the finest female player.

Retired at 30, after winning 22 slam titles.

With a large variety of shots, excellent racquet control and supreme athleticism - SF was the complete tennis player.

Tennis statistics evidence this - in terms of points won per game, first serve accuracy and stroke efficiency.
