TOPIC: General Election

General Election 2 Weeks, 5 Days ago
Now seems highly likely.

It'll solve many issues - as well as confirming the Brexit referendum decision.

Boris had played a very good hand of poker!

October 17th is the likely date.

Tony Blair is saying that a pre-Brexit general election would be an "elephant trap" for Labour, posing the risk that people would find the idea of a Corbyn win more off-putting than a no-deal Brexit. So he says that Labour should vote against a general election before Brexit. I wonder if this is code for telling people to vote against Corbyn in a pre-Brexit general election.

And he did; told us nothing; more waffle or, let's be blunt, Boffle.

Perhaps

But the strategy is brilliant

First an official statement - followed by another from an 'official' later, with a twist

Boris has put the wind everyone

His own MP'S - and the Labour Party (and other opponents) are both mistyfied, and wondering what's next

Even the media is baffled

I'm not; a "new" deal - the May deal rewritten; only passes with confirmatory referendum which it fails; Brexit dead; Boris doesn't care either way as long as he's PM.
