Belatedly just watched the Weinstein documentary - very good I thought, though Ronan Farrow came across as a little weasel. It clearly threw light on the events but failed to conclude the obvious - that times have changed; that the old casting couch mentality was no longer acceptable by society but that we should not judge events of the past by the morality of the present. Yes; behaviour SHOULD change as the morality does (and Harvey clearly did not learn that lesson) but it is easier said than done. Age often affects the individual in different ways and habits become ingrained. But a little bit of wisdom and tolerance should influence the way Society - and those who work in it - behaves.

I agree with the times have changed position but many of the Weinstock incidents happened in the 1990's and 2000's. The other issue with Weinstein is that he seemed to have been an egotistical bully as well as being a sex pest.

A good mate of mine used to work in a LA bar in the early early 90's. Harvey was a regular there, my friend didn't know anything about movies at the time or anything made by Miramax.

Yet Harvey kept saying "Do you know who I am ?" Nonsense if he didn't get his way. He was just another a sweaty drunk to my mate's eyes.

My late mother saw Robson Green at a train station years ago. He gave a mean glance and said " No autographs" She said why are you on you TV or something ? He swore under his breath.

I have lots of stories of the famous to tell.

The more that Nicholas Lyndhurst disguises himself the more he stands out. He was regular in of the bars I went to 2000s. He can swear like a sailor. The landlord told people not to approach him or talk to him, especially if you like his sitcom's.

Would love to hear more of your stories. Surprised to hear that about Nicholas Lyndhurst, but I'm not a great fan anyway, though liked him in Only Fools and Horses. Sounds as if he's an ...er... plonker.

I came across an online discussion about Cilla Black on a cabin crew or pilots forum a few years ago. Not sure if it was this one. She gets a few mentions, and not in a good way.

I always found Cilla absolutely super; down to earth and great fun - but we did know each other from the 1960's.

Nigel Havers always pay for small things with big notes from the bottom of his wad. Then moans he has to wait for change.

Russell Brand another Do you know who I am fool's.

James Corden something was gritting their teeth to stop himself from him hitting Corden. He is a very obnoxious and a nasty piece of work.

Steve Coogan is worse than Alan Partridge.

I met a young Alex Jones on a Texas gun range. He is very pleasent and was always up for a contest for the high score.

Not once was he arrogant or obnoxious to anyone, just courteous.

Odd..I thought similar about Ronan Farrow and I'm not sure he can be trusted on a matter like abuse given the history of that family.

Pretty sure his mum is nuts but what I find a tad sick is that Mia inferred that Frank Sinatra was Ronan's father & the fact Ronan has very blue eyes similar to Ole Blue Eyes probably convinced many but then Ronan's boyfriend let slip Ronan wears blue contact lenses.

And then with the timing..if Sinatra had been his father it would have meant Mia had a secret affair with Sinatra before Woody was "dating" her and Previn's adopted daughter so it makes her look incredibly sneaky and a shocking hypocrite to boot.
# And Ronan's looks are more like Mia's father's John Farrow than Sinatra's.
