TOPIC: Boris Johnson's "cunning plan"

Boris Johnson's "cunning plan" 4 Years, 6 Months ago
I've spotted where Boris' "cunning plan" is destined to fail. He knows he'll only get his ghastly "new" deal through the Commons by agreeing an immediate Confirmatory Referendum which will fail; will vote down Brexit. Boris, weeping crocodile tears, will blame others and call a General Election. He reckons Brexiteers will grant him that he tried and will vote for the Tories. I suspect many may vote Brexit, splitting the votes in those constituencies, seeing no Brexit candidates elected and very few Tories. If Corbyn and Swinson are sensible, they will form an alliance; Corbyn will be PM; Swinson Deputy PM with vastly increased powers (such as veto of far left policies). So we'll see a Labour/LibDem coalition.

The Westminster vote will be tight - with Boris needing about 320 votes in favour - bearing in mind the Speaker and Sinn Fein don't vote.

Presumably the 287 Tory MPs will back Boris!

He will hope some Labour defections will help - though these are unlikely. As are the 21 former Tory MPs to all support him; 6 to 8 are expected to vote against.

And the DUP have said they'll vote against; that's 10 votes.

Somehow the figures don't add up...

Sadly, it doesn't look as if another referendum would result in a vote to remain.

Have UK voters changed their minds on Brexit?

46% in favour of some sort of Leave option, 34% for Remain/Revoke and 21% Don't know. If 21% still haven't worked out that Brexit it a bad idea, they could clearly be persuaded to vote for it.

Looks as if it's going to be fun and games on Saturday. There's a demo calling for a second referendum scheduled for that date too.

Investigate Brexit NOW!

Who signed what, where, when and WHY!

Gordon Brown, texts in The Sun
Praise be Brown, with referendum
Throughout the fight, can't do what's right
Shafting The Crown, is Gordon Brown.

Through the airwaves
hacking phone masts?
Repeating acts throughout the past
Shagging The Crown with Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown Brookes the temptress
With the rest deciding what's best
Having their say, news of the day
Shafting The Crown with Gordon Brown

Shafting The Crown
Shagging around
with Coulson the clown

Although lots of strange things can and do happen in politics but this isn't going to be one of them. The Lib Dems have already got a reputation for flip flopping so given all the negative comments made by Jo Swinson about Jeremy Corbyn there's no way she could eveer team up with him. She knows that if that if she had an alliance with Jeremy Corbyn every future media interviewer would bring up her previous comments

If there was a different labour leader maybe something could happen but we'll never see a Corbyn/Swinton partnership.

Forget about another referendum, the majority voted to leave the EU. That is what should and will happen. The will of the British people should be honoured. After all,we're supposed to live in a democratic society aren't we???

God help us if Corbyn or that dreadful Swinson ever get in.

They're both a waste of spunk.
