TOPIC: McVities Jamaican Ginger Cake

McVities Jamaican Ginger Cake 4 Years, 6 Months ago
One of the great foods in this world; controversial as it could never be decided if it was a cake or a pudding or a biscuit. As a result it's hard to find in shops; they keep putting them in the wrong category. I think they are absolutely delicious; one of my favourites.

Well don't leave us hanging. How do you prefer to eat this cake/pudding/biscuit? As it is? Gently warmed from the oven? Toasted and smothered in butter? Cut up in soldiers and dipped into rum? Baked like a Christmas pud and topped with hot custard? Paired with Ben & Jerry's ice cream? Daringly clashing with a rich cheese? Used as the basis of a cheeky bread and butter pudding? Come on - details!

It's definitely not a biscuit. If you pour custard all over it, you can call it a pudding. Otherwise it's simply a cake. But if you were talking aboutt malt loaf ....
