My Peerage has come through ! 18 Years, 1 Month ago
They've just rung - my cheque has cleared and I'm now a Lord ! One slight hitch - I originally wanted to be Lord In The Know of Sleazeville but apparently the "of Sleazeville" bit is reserved for someone else who is expect to go to the Lords very soon. Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott was "not happy" he found out about millions loaned to the Labour Party by reading it in the papers, he has told the BBC.

He told Sunday AM he believed the controversy would lead to state funding of political parties, which he backs.

Newspapers report a fourth lender, Sir Gulam Noon, has now been blocked from joining the House of Lords.

Don't worry, ITD ! This is just their latest little ploy ! The party that brought in "openness" on donations (so they could have secret "loans" behind the scenes) will come up with another idea soon - they need the funding !
