According to today's tabloids; further proof that 50 years ago many stars had sex with groupies and some were under age. Never me; I was paranoid about breaking the law although I regarded the laws against any age for gay sex ludicrous and unreasonable. I lectured my fellow Sixties stars - avoid anyone under 16 and think seriously before doing drugs. I never did drugs; hardly ever drank; didn't smoke and never had sex with anyone under 16 or with anyone who didn't want to have sex with me. Ironic really.

I agree, except that she had no reason to mention it except to draw attention to herself, and I wont be at all surprised if she"sees the light" and decides she has been abused.
Well, she HAS been abused, in the sense that fifteen year old groupies are usually vulnerable people, and she WAS underage, but we were less aware in those days and fifteen year olds went out to work as adults, so were seen as adults.

Is this Mick Jagger? If the police were going to go after rock stars they'd surely have done it by now. Look at Bill Wyman. This may be a tad simplistic, but I wonder if they're (so far) immune because they're "cool", while lesser mortals are "naff".

Police desperately require others to emerge from woodwork (as they will almost certainly now about Jagger). Then they look at whether any spotlight might fall on THEM, when "assisting" false accusers. So far they've got away with it but they know the bigger the celebrity, the more the media investigates and might find out stuff about bent cops (look at the Mail recently). Police are cunning and not always stupid. Top cops are particularly aware that serious media attention (like recently on Rodhouse) can backfire. Dead celebs are pure gold; they cannot fight back; until recently live stars too were considered great but acquittals and revelations have really damaged the historical allegations industry.
