Well, she has obviously touched a chord with a lot of people, but I find the "I'm special I'm a nurse give me what I want now cos I'm so special" attitude quite revolting.
This is an open invitation to the active and robust 'elderly' to fill their trolleys to the brim to ensure their (often) massive families get in by proxy before anyone else. I look after a frail and housebound elderly person who has to make do with what I can get once the Elderly Hour brigade have swept the shelves.
Once the media printed photos of one or two elderly people clutching empty baskets (because they hadn't yet bought anything), holding a shopping list (as many of us do) and gazing at empty shelves (as most of us have) the supermarkets felt compelled to take the tiresomely compassionate approach which just succeeded in bringing out the elderly ambassadors for stockpiling families.
These sessions should be restricted to baskets and small trolleys only.

Thinking of the BBC - I bet the Government and that idiot Cummings doesn't quite think it's such a waste of time and money, now that they need such a mouthpiece. Imagine if the BBC had already been reduced to a subscription model, so only preaching to the wealthy elite. What broadcaster would serve the public good then? Food for thought that needs ramming down Cummngs' throat.
You know, I think "there is a billion pounds worth of food in people's homes and we should make sure we eat some of it" might be the most stupid thing I have ever heard.
If my next door neighbour has got a billion pounds worth of eggs in his fridge how does that help me?

Not even the elite would subscribe the TV licence is pretty much dead. The MSM is fake and public would be better off if they weren't preached.
Went to two supermarkets today didn't see any panic buying or arguments. Nurses are not the only ones whom need looking after its also bus and train driver's.
