I ordered an HD ready flat panel LCD TV with integrated digital (freeview). Was told on Thursday that I'd receive it within 48 hours. Good, I thought, because my old heavy, bulky model is showing signs of age, and the picture keeps disappearing into a thin line at the bottom of the screen ... and this morning it packed in altogether, so I took it down and polished the cabinet. Now, however, I learn that the new TV was shipped by Parcelforce 48 hour service, and that they don't do Saturday deliveries unless they are paid a surcharge, so I can't expect the TV until Monday.

Oh well.
