TOPIC: Boy killed by Priti Patel
#201207
Boy killed by Priti Patel 2 Months ago
Let's be honest Priti; don't blame "people smugglers" or migrants or the French; you killed that boy; on our behalf. We elected Boris and you and the current government and the majority of voters wanted Brexit, hate migrants and prefer to see them dead rather than use our tax monies to support them and better themselves. The majority are happy to spend £50K a year for life on housing, feeding and looking after boys who drag innocent police officers around behind their cars until they are dead but don't want to spend £5K a year on helping a human being live well. Why? Because our boys are white and British, not black and desperate. I'm ashamed to be British. Karma is coming to this nasty little island. If my OBE Father were alive he'd be shocked that the Germans were so far ahead of us in the morality stakes. No wonder there were five times as many UK Covid deaths as German ones. We deserve all we are going to get.

It's like the slave trade in reverse: they're trying to get here rather than being sent away to a colony. Probably not much difference between the attitudes to slaves then and the attitudes to migrants now.

This is very true. The underlying attitudes of indifference and neglect are identical.

Also, what teenager hasn’t dreamt and hoped for better times ahead?

I consider the sentiment of the statement should be for all of us in some measure but consider the statement somewhat over the top. As to compassion and practical solutions these are lacking big time and the issues are serious and must concern us ALL. The issues of immigration, homelessness and joblessness as part of the long list of things not properly addressed and reviewed regualrly for improvements. But these type problems/issues cover all countries and all time. For thousands of years.

The answers have always been simple. Basically culture change that shifts us from me, me , me (not completely of course because in all fairness we wake up always with me. It is a case of just adding others into the mix.)

I gather the migrants head out from France so at that stage France must have some involvement. What I would like to get involved with are proaction groups that say buy land and islands for the needy plus training and the whole thing, leading the way by positive action. Proaction that challenges all political parties and movements to show workable solutions. Copy and improve already workable solutions. I have written in the past to my local MP and had a question put in prarliment.I know one well known guy who raised millions for a hospital Jimmy Savile - no wonder people so readily believed nonsense about him as he showed positive action. Well we can't have that can we - nothing left to complaint about then because the guy achieve so much good even when Margaret Thacher was in power.

If labour want my vote then I would rather see them in action now in doing positive things for immigrants as opposed to highlighting fiasco re A levels because simply exam results was a difficult issue to tackle and any solution was going to be problematic. So real issues labour loses my vote and been Captain hndsight. Wellwho wants that.

Labour are no better now than Tories. Ditto Lib Dems.

No; we ALL have this lad's blood on our hands. And there will be many more. All because it appears the majority in the UK feel it is better for innocent children to die than for our tax monies to be used helping those who need help.
