Nobody seems to ask WHY? Why do we need to find out who tests positive for Covid19? So we can force perfectly healthy people to stop working, hide away for weeks? It is madness. This virus is mainly trivial. It affects very few badly; almost none fatally (it appears to be mutating; getting less lethal; and most of the vulnerable caught it and died months ago). We must live with Covid19 just like we learned to live with Flu before they found a vaccine. And still live with the Common Cold. Protect and treat the vulnerable is what's important; not testing millions and isolating them.

This is SO obvious it disturbs me nobody seems to be aware of it.

Because they would have to admit how wrong they have got it all. How can you stop all testing and restrictions when they are demanded by the logic of everything that has gone on so far?

This situation has a self-perpetuating machine right at its heart.

And the mainstream media seem very reluctant to go there. Outside mainstream a lot of serious voices are asking why...

It's not as glamorous as Death in Venice is it?

no Tadzio to follow and moon over as they wash down the streets with Dettol.

Mind you I did venture onto Bondi Beach 2 days ago and admired some stunning looking surfers in their unbelievable sexy wet suits.

But after an horrendous freezing dip I practically had to crawl back up the beach to my car. Policeman glared at me as well.

Nothing glamourous at all and people on the beach in masks !! looked really odd.

Why isn't there a masked emoji?

One thing jumps out. The 'alert' level of 'regular' acute respiratory infections is 400 cases per 100,000 while the Gov can lockdown your area for Covid on 50 cases per 100,000.

This while the death rate from Covid is less.

Why?

Is BJ listening to so-called experts or is he making laws up ? I don't hear anyone mention the R number that the government wanted.

He is panicking GM.

He is terrified of the already relatively appalling death rate we have being added to on his watch.

It's inevitable Wyot. The NHS, Labour, Lib Dems, DUP will be playing political football for decades. All Boris had to was hold China and World Health Organisation to account for spreading the virus and fake advice.
