I not saw the appeal to Avenger's it's very hammy like Jason King. However Minder is timeless in my opinion; my friends and family in New York love Minder.

I have been watching Roy Rogers film's with an elderly neighbour that my partner gets on with. I have seen enough B movie westerns to last me a lifetime but there are exceptions.

The three best Western movies:-

High Noon

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

The Magnificent Seven

Each, for totally different reasons.

I own and love all those 3 westerns.

High Noon is a tremendous film and Tex Ritter - Do Not Forsake Me is the song actually got me in the old country genre.
