I'm glad at last society is examining this; as regulars will know, I think I caught Covid19 back in early March; got over it in 4-5 days (just like Flu except strong fever and sweats). But twinges, aches and pains ever since then; going after a few weeks, replaced by other twinges, aches and pains.

So blinded by the simplicity of the media inflated initial coverage ("it's a plague killing millions"), global society failed to examine the reality or to deal with the different aspects of it. Sweden got closest to dealing with it properly (except covering care homes).

Now let's start getting sensible.

Let's hope the coverage of long Covid does not get hysterical.

While undoubtedly serious for some, best stat I can find shows only 2% show any symptoms after 90 days...Let alone serious symptoms.

Post viral infections also aren't new and flu can have a "long tail"...

But I accept little is known at this stage.
