Is Priti Patel a complete moron? 1 Week ago
She says nurseries are still open because they are covid safe, and are run by professional people who know how to apply the covid regulations.

So babies will be more than two metres apart at all times, in fresh air, cleaning their hands every time they touch something?

And the implication is that the people running gyms, restaurants, beauty salons, jewellers, clothing shops, department stores, pubs, clubs, charity shops, cafes etc etc are NOT capable of applying the rules? Because to me, it looks like a nursery is the least covid safe of all.

All the charity shops were superb with precautions before lockdown. Each had a return policy on clothes, no more than 6 in the shop, cleaning stations and were always clean.

Same with the city centre shops.

Yes, overzealous if anything.

They can open or shut nurseries for any reason they like, but there is no need for stupid and insulting lies.

I would be extremely worried if a politician told the truth.
