OK Here we go: My New Single! 3 Years, 2 Months ago
Inspired by Green Man on here; I went back and re-listened to Ways To Be Wicked. It sounded fantastic to me. So we've remastered it; turned it into ways to get out of Covid 19; called it WAYS2021.
My thought is - this could be the Macarena or Gangnam Style of the year. Dreadful video (watch it; link below) done by elderly gent - Dad Miming as opposed to Dad Dancing but, like those past dance classics, my hope is people all over the world will make their own 6 minute dance videos - either solo or with friends or family. Expressing six minutes of awful, brilliant, funny, serious, rhythmic or athletic treatments of how they will dance away the present.

Thanks Honey! Yes I think because I recorded under so many pseudonyms a lot of people don't realise I actually sold over 40 million tracks with my vocals on (either lead or backup). Admittedly many of those were appearances on Compilation albums - so one track on That's What I Call Music 1976 counts another million!
Re:OK Here we go: My New Single! 3 Years, 2 Months ago
Yes hopefully people will consider Dad Miming as bad as Dad Dancing; I'm sure you remember the two old Spanish codgers doing the Macarena and the Korean Gangnam.

Always love it when there’s a new single or video from the JK Hit Factory.
Your Revvolution films are wonderful.. Me Me Me and The Pink Marble Egg are my favourites..
I watched & listened to the new release here and on YouTube direct.. good that you included a Google drive download link as by initially giving music away free often helps music spreads and go viral.
Very unusual nowadays to release such a long track 5:58 in a world of short attention spans.
My own view, if I was going to be your A&R man for your next single release I would suggest you adopt an almost reverse approach and release a short snappy and instantly hooky track with a duration of somewhere between 1:15 - 2:00 minutes duration, kind of like an extended catchy jingle.
I think short play novelty pop has the best odds of going viral and getting big streaming numbers...
Anyway, love your music past, present and future releases.
You’ve still got a good singing voice (I can’t sing for nuts) !

YouTube views started slowly - 88 views first day. This morning, however, it's up to 502 (most overnight from viewers abroad as daylight arrived). Is it catching on or just a tiny hiccup (as I'm sure one of our cynical visitors will swiftly point out)?

It was originally released in the 1980's on a 12 inch single; it was also the B-side to Wild World. I only had it on cassette that a friend made for me used to be DJ our pub/club. He knew I was big Lone Justice fan.
Dance songs back then were about 3 - 6 minutes in length, not everyone wants to hear a crap novelty song.

Up to 1,045 this morning, 48 hours in. This is how things begin to go viral. Yes the reason it's 6 minutes is to carry my 6 ways of getting out of Covid and to allow everyone with a desire to do a selfie video to give them an excuse to dance for 6 minutes. I'm hoping that by the summer (winter down under) everyone will be wanting to dance again and this could be the Macarena or Gangnam Style of 2021.

I also enjoyed this video. It reminded me, too, of Sausage’s Harry & the Hulahoops video which I’ve revisited and replayed several times. I love the spontaneity of the latter. There is also something captivating and intriguing about the way the happy and light-hearted tune with a slightly melancholic undertone, struggles through that strange android device and contrasts sharply with the office surroundings, busy road and bleak winter outlook.

Ways2021
The JK 2021 Hit Factory latest single is really
doing well and still on the up.
Ways2021 Topic Video (Album cover art) has 782 views/listens
and 3 thumbs up on YouTube
Ways2021 official video had greater than 5300 views/listens
and 159 thumbs up on YouTube
As of 8.15 pm London time Tuesday 16 Feb.
So by the time you read this those numbers will have increased further.
The album artwork is of JK’s face fragmented and splintered into
pieces .. like a distorted dream.. reminds me of
“The Maze” episode from the TV teledrama The Baron
