Operation Yewtree had nothing on King or Freddie Starr. I never had a problem with Starr in a pub, he was always polite. He sort of made it clear about autographs etc. I said to him they are not my scene, he was happy about it. Yewtree? give me a break. Totally discredited.

It's amazing to think the victims of Yewtree including the great war hero, top pop singer and noted DJ and others had their lives totally upended ( I won't say "ruined" because I wish them recovery) and this term is rolled out as something credible when it was an utter disgrace on British Justice.
