JK, if you did not want the possibility of the tabloids picking up this song/story and running with it as only they can, why didn't you use a fictional character or yourself as the subject? Writing lyrics about such an emotive issue was always going to create this reaction, especially since it was you that wrote it.
Not only was I well aware of the tabloids picking up on it, Godiver, but I hoped they would.
You need attention drawn to music these days or it can sink without trace.
This isn't a new thing with me.

Not to mention...
