It's crazy. Supposedly a victim of serious crime at 12, then she waits for 50 years from when she turns 18 to file this. Clearly someone with a false "just in time" story out for money but plenty of people will lap it up (e.g. "Never listened to his music. Always thought he was weird/creepy", "She's so brave", "People calling her a liar know nothing about sexual abuse", #hertoo, blabla, etc.).

Her legal documents were filed on Friday at the New York Supreme Court under the state's Child Victims Act. The claim was submitted a day before the closure of a temporary legal "look back window" in New York, which allowed historical abuse allegations to be filed.
