...I immediately suspected a Basking shark, being wrongly seen, but if you study any TV footage of the beastie, a white throat is visible.
I`m sticking my neck out(maybe not a good idea!) and I`m going for a Killer Whale off-course.
Penny bets anyone?

How about vague and fuzzy long-shot can't actually determine anything.

I believe the one of the tabloids had a composite photo to show a Great White attacking a seal, because it's what it would look like if it happened only it didn't happen.

Facts, good story, don't let them get in the way of.

Notably , the press have beaten the silly season by three days this year for UK stories.
I take it that mass flooding was not enough,as a real story, they had to attempt keep people off the beaches as well.

When Leonardo Da Vinci, travelled back to his own time and took the first CD copy of Photoshop back with him on his travels, he really must have cursed when someone stole his Mac G4 and ended up trying to draw (quite successfully I might add )the contents of all his files by hand.

Silly season pah!(Yes, you`ve guessed it, I did watch the "Da Vinci Code" this weekend, and it was the most transparent plot I had ever seen...)

I think its a PR stunt for the Newton Faulkner single "Dream Catch Me" (which features a Great White on the sleeve).

Whilst on "silly season " stories,
I feel a name drop for Sainsburys is worth a very rare mention.
Their "Seasonal Fresh Tropical Summer" loo cleaner, has the waft of a certain substance often smelt at outdoor rock events about it..

I`m sure an old hippy had a good laugh creating that scent, that being the case, the laboratory boffin may well have previously worked in a meditation tent at Glasto.

Mart... you're missing a trick here.

You're on the coast, get out there and harpoon yourself a shark-steak!

(I think you're still allowed to smoke on the open seas so you'd be alright there)

Funnily enough, I had octopus salad for lunch today, another first.(didn`t catch it though!)

I read what seemed a revolting tale at the time, of how somebody or others brother, used to like biting the suckers off the tentacles before eating the main bit.
I can assure everyone who has not eaten octo before, that this is actually a very agreeable a habit.
It`s a bit like getting one of those baby corn on the cobs, that you find in stir fries and putting corn forks at each end in practice.
Tastes nothing like it of course.

I can`t recommend elephant garlic enough this week, we had it thinly sliced on fillet steak slices with mozzarella tonight.
