I binged watched the Kenny Everett Video Show last night on That's TV Gold channel. I wish to ask you JK do you have in-depth stories about him ?

I actually did cry when Kenny died, his TV shows were great escapism for me. He des I love how he roasted Cliff Richard and Rod Stewart on the show it was all harmless and done in good fun. Barry Cryer is like the mad scientist when it comes to comedy.

I did have a stack of his Radio 1 shows on home cassettes but they sadly went missing.

What I gathered is that Kenny slept never around with random people. However his Russian partner was the one who did, he went to see Freddie Mercury behind Kenny back. I am not sure if that is true but it's what I did hear once from someone.

I used to wake up to Kenny Everett (and can't remember his then radio partner) on radio every morning and he was so funny he got me in a good mood to get to Kings Road for my job.

I sort of went off him went he appeared at that Margaret Thatcher event.

I actually laughed so hard when he said "Let's bomb Russia" that I went in to a fit. Barry Cryer did say that the comment did haunt Kenny.
