John Lewis Ad 2 Years, 6 Months ago
Go Woke go broke. John Lewis are literally surviving by it's fingernails in the high streets and no they have a crappy advert. If they wanted to do ruin their brand and shops they have done the right thing. Earlier this year they closed a lot of them down in big towns and city centres.

Even M&S have closing more and more of their stores including their big shops. I don't get why M&S don't open up little supermarkets in the high street because their food is great and their meal deals are a bargain.

There is nothing new about children dressing up, and nothing new about brattish behaviour.
My objection is to them having the mother sit there and do nothing.

However, according to John Lewis, they DO pay out for wilful damage, which must be lovely if you cant be arsed teaching courtesy.

Alex Belfield seems a bit camp in that video.

It's a shame about JL's closures. I expect they'll close permanently in due course. I relied on them for clothing for years, until they stopped international deliveries post Brexit. I always found certain brands good quality, nicely styled and good value for money. Better quality and styles than M&S, IMO, which I think has gone downhill over the years for women's clothing, though their food is excellent.

When isn't Alex Belfield camp ?!

He reminds of Julian Clary at times - who again is a very nice person.

I don't like John Lewis clothes for men or their home wares but that's only my opinion. I hate shopping online for clothes, no matter who the retailer is. I miss days of tailors with their made to measure suits.
