Our Government has been willing to mess with peoples freedoms for political gain over Covid but now have hit a new low: explicitly delaying cancer check ups in order to prioritise the vaccinations of healthy 20 year olds. They are beyond contempt - and the "opposition". We are run by complete self-serving scum.

I think it makes sense - and has always made sense - not to spread colds (for that reason I never visited my elderly Mother if I had a slight cold). Likewise Flu - if a vaccine was available I took it (from 2005 when my friend Deniz talked me into it). Likewise Covid - now, apparently, an even more harmless virus than it was when it started - (50,000 a day infected; 100 a day die "who had it 28 days earlier").

Over reaction is simplistic, media pleasing stupidity. The ONLY reason is to get media approval. Stupid politicians. Stupid "experts". Stupid Editors. Stupid journalists.

My father didn't visit my grandparents when they were in their twilight years, even if we had a runny nose. We had to meet in their garden. We were all fine with that, my sisters loved doing crafts with my grandmother whilst my grandfather told me some yarn whilst smoking long cigar. I loved the story he told me about the year he was in the Mafia with the actor James Cagney.

That was my expression also Honey after hearing some of his yarns in the olde days. His body was there but his mind was somewhere else. However I still don't know how he escaped from the Mafia because he always dozed off at that point. When did he wake up he go on about he a punch up with John Wayne and he knocked Wayne out and went on holiday with Maureen O'Hara.
