TOPIC: The King's Speech
#221218
The King's Speech 2 Weeks, 2 Days ago
So what's gone wrong? Clearly, to me, over reaction to Covid, exaggerated by media (because it was a great story) and followed by foolish governments who believed the hype, has been the main cause for global financial collapses. Second, for the UK, stupid Brexit - a trivial issue which had the obvious flaw that changing horses in mid race is a mistake. Why did it happen? Media hype again - stupid slogans worked. Which is the third reason - humanity seems incapable of depth of thinking now. Superficiality. What a curse. From global warming to MeToo. One extreme to the other. Whereas the truth is ALWAYS in between.

Humanity has become completely vapid this century. It deserves all that is coming its way. I hope the next lead species in the world do a better job than we did.

The insects are already the lead species and when we are gone will continue to do just fine. Evolution just doesn't need our level of intelligence. To evolve to create atom bombs and Richard Madeley is the hallmark of a species on borrowed time...

I have no idea how him and Judy get work...both are very bland and boring off screen.

another reason I am convinced that all those 100s of UFO sightings are either from the future or distant planets and are aerial sight seeing tours with passengers told they cannot land and disembark as the natives are hostile, irrational, dangerous and possibly quite mad.

That made me smile Hedda - almost as much as your ridiculous Eurovision entry this year!
